Iwatsu ECS from Icon Voice Networks

Icon’s flagship product is the Enterprise Communications Server or ECS manufactured by Iwatsu.  The ECS is an IP-PBX capable of supporting Digital, VoIP, Analog, and SIP endpoints.  The ECS starts off as a single cabinet and can expand to accommodate 1024 total ports.

There are multiple corded and cordless telephone options of for the ECS.  The latest cosmetic is the Icon Series which are available in both a Digital and VoIP version.  The Icon Series Phones are full duplex speaker phones that have large displays and interactive soft keys.

The ECS has multiple voice mail options.  The standard card level voice mail is 4 ports, has 25 hours of storage, and 300 mailboxes.  This voice mail card supports voice mail to email conversion/forwarding as wav files via Iwatsu’s Enterprise Gateway Software.

The ECS can also be equipped with a full blown Unified Communications platform, the TOL Voice Mail Server.  The TOL supports voice mail/email/ fax integration to Microsoft Outlook, a link to Outlook Calendar functions, true Find Me Follow Me, and Lantalk:a secure instant messaging client.
